Data Verification

The New Mexico Higher Education Department is required by statute (Section 21-1-26.3 NMSA 1978) and NMHED policy to verify data submitted to it by New Mexico colleges and universities. 

Data verification in New Mexico in based on a “Peer Review” model where institutional representatives participate in the process.  This is critical not only from a logistical standpoint but in providing an institutional perspective on issues that may arise during data review.   For more information click here.
