SAT/ACT Testing and Admission Changes Due to COVID: The ACT/SAT are not required for admission purposes for the 2020-21 and will not be required for the 2021-22 admission cycle. The ACT/SAT were required for consideration of most merit awards for the 2020-21 admission cycle; however, it is anticipated that for the 2021-22 admission cycle the majority of merit awards will not consider test scores. And as in the past, ACT/SAT are not required for placement in academic programs or required for admission into honors programs, but may be used for these purposes if available, and are helpful and encouraged.
